Craig Okahara-Olsen is an associate attorney at Deeley King Pang & Van Etten, where he maintains a Honolulu-based practice dedicated to resolving disputes in trust and estate, construction, contracts, corporate and commercial, and real property matters.
Craig was born and raised in Hilo, Hawai`i before pursuing his undergraduate studies at the University of San Francisco, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History through the Saint Ignatius Honors College and was a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honors society. After graduating, he gained professional experience at a San Francisco-based law firm as a legal assistant before returning home to Hawai`i to attend the University of Hawai`i, William S. Richardson School of Law.
During law school, Craig was actively focused on obtaining academic and practical exposure. He served as a staff writer and publications editor for the Asian-Pacific Law & Policy Journal and served as a part-time law clerk at Deeley King Pang & Van Etten. Additionally, he also externed for the Honorable R. Mark Browning, Chief Judge of the First Circuit Court, State of Hawai`i.
Craig is admitted to practice before all Hawai`i State Circuit and Appellate Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Hawai`i, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
